Kateryna Yushchenko Meets with Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri

July 10, 2009, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko met with Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri. At the meeting at the Institute for Archaeological Oceanography of Rhode Island University was also present Robert D. Ballard, renowned oceanographer, researcher, and scientist, who had discovered the Titanic wreck in the Atlantic Ocean in 1985.
Mrs. Kateryna passed to Mr. Carcieri a letter from Chernivtsi oblast Governor Volodymyr Kulish, proposing to establish partnership between Chernivtsi oblast and Rhode Island state.
