Kateryna Yushchenko Visits Premiere at Chernivtsi Kobylianska Music and Drama Theater

June 18, 2009, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko visited the Longing for the Future: a Simple Story show based on Vira Kytayhorodska poetry at Chernivtsi Kobylianska Music and Drama Theater.
Vira Kytayhorodska is a Ukrainian poet, chief editor of Bukovynske viche [Bukovyna assembly] newspaper and Dzvinochok [Little Bell] children’s newspaper, laureate of Dmytro Zahul and Sydor Vorobkevych prizes, and one of the authors of the Ukraine’s Red Book of Poetry, presented by Ukraine 3000 Foundation in January 2009.
Among other participants of the event were Head of Chernivtsi Oblast State Administration Volodymyr Kulish, Head of Chernivtsi Oblast Council Ivan Shylepnytsky, Chernivtsi City Mayor Mykola Fedoruk, First Deputy Head of Oblast State Administration Viktor Pavliuk, and Head of the Board of Directors of Ukraine 3000 Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk.
Mrs. Yushchenko and Ukraine 3000 Foundation members are on a one-day working trip to Chernivtsi oblast. Earlier they visited Chernivtsi Oblast Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center for Children with Organic Lesions of Nervous System, Father Mykhaylo Zhar’s children’s home, Chernivtsi City Children’s Clinical Hospital, and Volodymyr Ivasiuk memorial apartment.
