Final Meeting Between Ukrainian and Italian Doctors

May 24 a final meeting between Ukrainian and Italian doctors was held in Desenzano del Garda, Italy.
Among the participants of the meeting were Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko, representatives of the L.I.CO.S. Onlus international cooperation laboratory – President Alessandro Cali and Vice President Justina Bonanno, Ukraine 3000 Foundation representatives – Head of the Board of Directors of Ukraine 3000 Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk and Director of the Medical Programs Department Vira Pavliuk, Ukrainian and Italian doctors.
Addressing the audience, Mrs. Yushchenko thanked the Italian party for fruitful cooperation within the framework of the MELO project and expressed her hope for it to be continued. She noted that the Ukraine 3000 Foundation would support initiatives extending this cooperation. Mrs. Kateryna also invited Italian doctors to visit Ukraine.
This was the final event on the schedule of Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko’s and Ukraine 3000 Foundation members’ working trip to Italy on an invitation from L.I.CO.S. Onlus international cooperation laboratory.
May 22, they visited L’Ospedale Civile di Brescia hospital in Brescia, took part in signing working documents between Ukrainian and Italian doctors, and met with Lombardy high authorities.
May 23, Mrs. Yushchenko met with Brescia city authorities’ representatives and members of the Ukrainian community and talked to Desenzano del Garda city council members.
