
Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation and the International African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights Sign an Agreement on Cooperation

November 1, 2008, the ceremony of signing an Agreement on Cooperation between African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights Rights and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation took place in Tripoli. Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko, Secretary General of the African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights Safa Muhammad Naji Al Gaddafi and other members of this organization, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Hennady Latiy, and Ukraine 3000 Foundation members: Head of the Board of Directors Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Advisor to Head of the Supervisory Board Andriy Myroshnichenko, and Director of the Medical Programs Dept. Vira Pavliuk took part in the ceremony.
The agreement envisages cooperation between African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation on humanitarian issues, in part, education, medicine, and culture.
Mrs. Yushchenko and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation members are staying in Lybia for working trip on an invitation from Secretary General of the African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights Safa Muhammad Naji Al Gaddafi.
October 27 Mrs. Yushchenko had a meeting with Safa Muhammad Naji Al Gaddafi and Secretary of the Foreign Affairs of the General Conference of People in Libya Suleiman Al-Shahoumi and also talked to Ukrainian doctors, working in Libya.
October 28, Mrs. Yushchenko met with leader of the September Revolution Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and Secretary of the People's Committee for Health & Environment of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Muhammad Abu Ujaylah Rashid.
October 31, Mrs. Yushchenko visited Benghazi, where she met with representatives of the city People’s Congress and of the African – Arab Organization for Women’s Rights in Benghazi.
