
Kateryna Yushchenko Visits Luhansk and Kharkiv Oblasts

June 1, 2008, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko was to Luhansk and Kharkiv oblasts on a business trip. She visited, in part, Sverdlivka and Rayhorodka villages in Luhansk oblast and also the location of her father’s native village of Zaytsivka, now part of Cherneshcheyna village, Boriv district, Kharkiv oblast.
The Rayhorodka secondary school and Sverdlivka doctor’s assistant station received presents from the Ukraine 3000 Foundation. The school was given a printer, sports equipment, and Ukrainian books for the library. The doctor’s assistant station received a first-aid kit, medicines, and books. The certificates were handed over to school principal Natalia Hrabko and doctor’s assistant Liliya Khramyhina by Mrs. Yuschenko and the Foundation members.
Mrs. Kateryna also met with her relatives living in Rayhorodka, Luhansk oblast, visited locations connected with her family history and family graves.
