Ukraine 3000 Foundation Representatives Attend the Ukraine’s Golden Grain Sixth Children’s Festival Closing Ceremony

April 18, 2008, Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk and expert with the Social Issues Administration Yuliya Yandrova took part in the Ukraine’s Golden Grain Sixth Children’s Festival closing ceremony. The festival, organized by the Czech Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine, was held with the support of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation.

The event featured the awards ceremony and a gala concert with the participation of the prize winners. Mr. Maksymchuk read out a greeting letter from Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko and gave out books as the Foundation’s present. In addition, winner in the Solo Singing nomination Mariam Bagadasarian received from the Foundation a tour to the Artek International Children’s Center.

The participants of the Ukraine’s Golden Grain Festival are young composers, singers, chamber ensembles, and musicians playing the piano, violin, cello, guitar, harp, and wind instruments. The Sixth Festival was held from April 11 till 18, with the participation of 570 soloists and 52 ensembles from Ukraine, Argentina, Syria, Russia, Belarus, China, South Korea, and Italy.
