The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund wishes you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! We wish you sound health, happiness, and prosperity.
The Year 2007 was rather intense and at the same time interesting and fruitful for the Ukraine 3000 Fund. Let us recall the major milestones of that year.
In 2007 the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and its partners have been working actively in many areas. The recipients of our charitable aid were numerous private persons and institutions working in the areas of culture, medicine, and education. The Ukraine 3000 Fund continues implementing big long-term projects and programs. To name a few, the Hospital to Hospital, Children’s Hospital of the Future, Joy of the Childhood: Free Movements, Lessons in History: Manmade Famine of 1932-1933, and Ukrainian Center for Museum Development programs have been successfully functioning. A number of events which have already become a tradition had been held: the Human Rebirth, Renewal, and Development Humanitarian Forum, Museum Event of the Year, For the Development of the National Cinema awards ceremony. In 2007 the Ukraine 3000 Fund announced the start of a number of new projects and programs and carried out a series of single-time events.

January 22: First payment came from Borys Kolesnykov for creating the Children’s Hospital of the Future.
January 26: A treaty signed On Donating a Purpose Charitable Contribution between the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund and Ukraine’s Development Charitable Fund.
January 26: Cardio equipment distributed within the framework of the Healthy Heart of a Child joint action by McDonalds Ukraine and Ukraine 3000 Fund.
January 28: Christmas Fantasies holiday concert.
January 31: Awards ceremony held of the First All-Ukrainian Grant Competition for Patients Care and Rehabilitation Institutions for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
February 7: Experts with the Hospital to Hospital Program take part in the Doctors Network Third International Conference.
February 17: Memorandum on Mutual Understanding signed by Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and California Association to Aid Ukraine.
February 22: Charitable donation of $1,000,000 was made for the Children’s Hospital of the Future program by James Temerty.
February 27: The Cossacks’ Fame for the Little Readers charitable project launched.
Early March: the Hospital to Hospital Program’s official website launched.
March 16: A treaty signed on making a purpose charitable contribution between the Children’s Hospital of the Future CF and AvtoKrAZ Holding Company.
March 22: Contract signed between Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund and the State Administration.
March 27: Executed by Famine: Unknown Genocide of Ukrainians Exhibition presented at the European Parliament in Brussels.
March 28: The Ukraine 3000 Fund and EDAPS Consortium sign a memorandum On Cooperation in Charitable Projects in the Educational Sphere, Preserving Historical Legacy, and Introducing Innovative Technologies.
March 30: Pride of the Country All-Ukrainian Awards Ceremony held.
April 5: The ceremony of donating computer tomograph to the AMSU Oncology Institute held.
April 14: The Ukraine's Innovative Intellect All-Ukrainian Youth Contest winners awarded.
April 17: Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund take part in the opening ceremony of the Seventh International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz.
April 18: The Legal Protection of the Cultural Legacy collection of regulatory documents published.
April 19: A treaty on charitable activities signed between the Children’s Hospital of the Future CF and Arterium Corporation.
April 24-26: Children’s surgeons undergo a training course at the European Surgical Institute (Hamburg, Germany) as part of the Hospital; to Hospital Program.
April 24-27: Second Human Rebirth, Revival, and Development International Humanitarian Forum held at the Artek ICC.
April 29: Awards ceremony of the Fourth Hnat Hotkevych Ukrainian National Instruments Players International Competition.
May 5: Memory Beyond Time Patriotic Charitable Action held.
May 11: Experts with the Hospital to Hospital program take part in the Neurology e-conference as part of the Doctors Network project.
May 17-20: The Ukraine 3000 Fund representatives, headed by Head of the Supervisory Board of the Fund Kateryna Yushchenko, take part in the Cannes Film Festival.
May 21: Competition announced to select general designer for the construction of the All-Ukrainian Mothers’ and Children’s Health Protection Center in Kyiv.
May 24: Awards ceremony held of the Museum Event of the Year Second All-Ukrainian Action. Grant holders of the Third Program to Support Museum Workers announced.
May 26: Winners announced in the Second All-Ukrainian Grant Competition for Patients Care and Rehabilitation Institutions for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
May 30: The joint program by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and MTI Company completed, equipping with computers five boarding schools for children with poliomyelitis consequences or cerebral palsy.
June 2007: The Ukrainian translation of British historian Robert Conquest’s The Harvest of Sorrow published.
June 14: Chernihiv Oblast Children’s hospital receives 130,000 worth of medical equipment from Ukraine 3000 Fund.
June 15: The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund announces the second Ukraine’s Innovative Intellect 2007 Contest.
June 20: Vinnytsia Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital receives UAH 68,000 worth neonatology and lab equipment from Ukraine 3000 Fund.
July 2007: the Oleksandr Dovzhenko: Portrait of a Dissident book published.
July 6-8: Krayina Mriy Fourth International Festival held.
July 6-13: Ukraine 3000 Fund conducts its Summer Youth Educational School.
July 9: The Children’s Hospital of the Future CF and Finance and Credit Bank sign a treaty on a purpose charitable donation.
July 18: Final part of the Contest for General Designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health started.
July 19: The Children’s Hospital of the Future CF and SMART HOLDING Ltd. Sign a treaty on charitable aid.
July 23: The Children’s Hospital of the Future CF and Viktor Pinchuk Fund CA sign a treaty on charitable activity.
July 24: The Board of Trustees of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Program holds its first meeting.

September 6: Corporate Social Responsibility. Global Aspect panel organized at the Seventeenth Economic Forum in Krynica, Poland.
September 13: Five Ukraine 3000 Fund’s publications dedicated to Holodomor presented at the Book Publishers’ Forum in Lviv.
September 13: Ukraine 3000 Fund announces a multistage competition to create art objects for the Contemporary Arts Park at the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health.
September 17: Ukraine 3000 Fund and the National UNESCO Committee sign a treaty on charitable aid for purchasing medical equipment for the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2 Burn Center.
September 18: Medical equipment worth over UAH 500,000 donated to the Kirovohrad Oblast Children’s Hospital by Ukraine 3000 Fund.
September 22: Junior Eurovision 2007 National Selection Finals take place.
September 24: Robert J. Waller’s Pink Bridge performed at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank
September 28: Ukraine 3000 Fund and Ukraine’s Special Olympics national team announce the beginning of their long-term partnership.
October 1-15: A group of Ukrainian children requiring upper extremities prosthetics stay in Orlando, US.
October 5: A Memorandum on Cooperation signed between the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and the Chinese Soong Ching Ling Foundation
October 9: An informational meeting with foreign states and international organizations representatives held, dedicated to the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933.
October 19: Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund holds the First All-Ukrainian Meeting of the Hospital to Hospital Program Members of Board of Trustees.
October 22: Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and United Nations Office in Ukraine sign Memorandum on Mutual Understanding. Ukraine 3000 Fund receives a certificate on joining the UN Global Compact.
October 25: Ukraine 3000 Fund and Molodist International Film Festival announce the creation of the Ukrainian Film Foundation.
October 28: The Fund for the fifth time confers the award for Developing National Cinema Art.
November 7: Executed by Famine: the Unknown Genocide of the Ukrainians exhibition unveiled in Geneva.
November 8: Ukraine 3000 Fund and Zaporizhstal sign a treaty on charitable aid.
November 9: The Harvest of Sorrow by Robert Conquest presented.
November 15: Memorandum on Cooperation signed between the Odesa Oblast Children’s Hospital and Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Dankner Group.
November 18: World Children’s Day held at McDonalds in partnership with Ukraine 3000 Fund.
November 21: Ukraine Remembers: Holodomor of 1932-1933 – Genocide of the Ukrainian People exhibition unveiled.
The Fund was a co-organizer of the Light a Candle memorial action for the victims of the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 for the fifth time.
November 28: National Contest Committee of the Doing Good Starts with You Program holds a meeting.
December 4: Memorandum signed on cooperation between Sumy Oblast Children’s Hospital and University Hospital of Geneva.
December 8: Winner of the Junior Eurovision Ukrainian national finals takes part in the European Finals.
December 13: Treaty signed between BDPGroup6 and Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitablke Fund on preparing design estimates for the Design Stage.
December 13: Winners announced in the Philanthropist 2007 National Contest.
December 14: The Honey for Mommy book presented to wives of the heads of diplomatic missions in Kyiv.
December 19: Leading Ukraine’s law firms announce their intention to cooperate with Ukraine 3000 Fund and Children’s Hospital of the Future Fund on pro bono basis.
The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund thanks its partners and friends for their help in implementing our charitable programs.
The Fund will return from its Christmas holidays January 14.
