Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko Meets with President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao

October 2, 2007, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko met with President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao at the Sinjao governmental residence in Shanghai.
In course of the meeting, Mr. Jintao and Mrs. Yushchenko discussed issues related to the cooperation between China and Ukraine. The parties laid emphasis on the cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.
Mrs. Yushchenko thanked the Head of China for the chance to visit China.
Mrs. Yushchenko and Ukraine 3000 Fund representatives are staying in China to support the athletes of the Ukrainian national team at the Special Olympics 2007, to be held October 2-11 in Shanghai. A series of events with the participation of Mrs. Yushchenko is on the agenda of the trip, in part, unveiling the Ukrainian Language Chair at the Shanghai University.
It is planned that October 2, 2007, Mrs. Yushchenko will meet with Head of China’s National Federation of the Disabled Den Pufan and take part in the Special Olympics opening ceremony.
