Addressing those present, Mrs. Yushchenko recalled that she, together with Ukraine 3000 Fund members, had been present at the Dyvosvit Children’s House unveiling ceremony. “I’m happy to be here today and see that the children live in perfect conditions, that they are loved and cared about,” she said. Mrs. Kateryna wished all children to grow up to be worthy citizens of their country.
Kateryna Yushchenko also thanked Anhelina Usachenko. She said that, in spite of her age, the girl had already done a lot for her country. “Anhelina’s face is familiar to almost all Ukrainians,” she said. “She has become a symbol of hope. We expect that, when we build this hospital, thousands of children requiring our help will be granted this hope.” Mrs. Yushchenko gave to Anhelina a children’s computer and a big stuffed toy.
After that, the children gave a small concert for the guests.
