
Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Visit the Poltava Oblast Sklifosovsky Clinical Hospital

February 27, 2007, representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund visited the Poltava Oblast Sklifosovsky Clinical Hospital. Head of the Fund’s Supervisory Board Kateryna Yushchenko, Advisor to the Head of the Supervisory Board Andriy Myroshnichenko, Head of the Board of Directors Oleksandr Maksymchuk, and Head of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund Vira Pavliuk took part in the said event.
The guests have visited four mobile diagnosing units: X-rays diagnosing, diagnosing lab, dental, and medical X-rays diagnosing, due to which the hospital’s staff is able to render medical assistance to rural regions residents. The Fund’s representatives talked to the doctors manning these units and familiarized themselves with their technical facilities.
Besides, the visitors talked to the clinic’s management and visited the construction site of the clinical hospital for the adults.
On behalf of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, Mrs. Yushchenko presented to the Poltava Oblast Sklifosovsky Clinical Hospital an icon of the Blessed Virgin.
Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund have arrived to Poltava for a one-day working visit, whose agenda includes visiting Poltava’s medical and educational institutions. Besides, Mrs. Yushchenko is to take part in the Education of the Future through the Eyes of the Young roundtable to be held at the Poltava Consumers’ Cooperation University.
As part of the visit, the Fund’s new program, Cossacks’ Fame for the Little Readers, was presented. The Fund’s representatives have also visited the Poltava Oblast Children’s Hospital.
