
Meeting between Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund and Robert Bosch Foundation

October 6, 2006, a meeting took place between the representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and Robert Bosch Foundation.
Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko, head of the Robert Bosch Foundation Dr. Ingrid Hamm, head of the Robert Bosch Foundation’s project on international understanding Dr. Karsten Lenk, Advisor to the Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Head of the Tomorrow Area Olha Kovalenko, press secretary of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Maryna Antonova took part in the meeting along with Deputy Director of the Poland-America-Ukraine Cooperation Initiative (PAUCI) Orysia Lutsevych.
The meeting discussed cultural, educational, and healthcare issues. Mrs. Yushchenko told the Robert Bosch Foundation representatives about the Ukraine 3000 Fund's major activities and the implementation of the Fund’s programs.
In their turn, leaders of the Robert Bosch Foundation spoke about programs and projects their Foundation is carrying out in Ukraine.
The parties discussed the ways of possible cooperation within the framework of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund’s programs and projects.
The Robert Bosch Foundation, founded in 1964, is one of Germany’s biggest charitable foundations. Its goals reflect social striving of the Bosch Company founder Robert Bosch. The Foundation operates in five programmatic areas in the spheres of healthcare, strengthening international understanding, education and upbringing, arts and culture, and also humanitarian, social, and natural sciences. The foundation owns three institutions: the Robert Bosch Hospital, Dr. Margarete Fischer-Bosch Institute for Clinical Pharmacology, and Institute for the History of Medicine. The Foundation’s headquarters are situated in Stuttgart.
