A Meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Was Held

September 28, 2006, a Meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund was held.
Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Kateryna Yushchenko, Members of the Supervisory Board: theater director and Honored Arts Worker of Ukraine Vasyl Vovkun, Advisor to the President of Ukraine and Deputy of the Kyiv City Council Vitaliy Klychko, philologist and literary critic Mykhailyna Kostiubinska, President of the Children’s Friends Charitable Fund Maryna Krysa, Director of the Philosophy Institute at Ukraine’s Academy of Sciences Academician Myroslav Popovych, frontman of the VV rock group Oleh Skrypka, Director General of the Molodist [Youth] International Film Festival Andriy Khalpakchi, along with Head of the Fund’s Board of Directors Oleksandr Maksymchuk and Members of the Board of Directors: Director of the Hospital to Hospital program Vira Pavliuk, Head of the Today Area Oleksandra Mushkudiani, Head of the Tomorrow Area Olha Kovalenko, the Fund’s Chief Accountant Tetiana Karelina, and representative of the Yesterday Area, head of the Ukrainian Museum Business Center's Information and Analysis Department Vladyslav Pioro were present at the meeting.
The meeting considered and approved the Account of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund for Year 2005. Members of the Supervisory Board were also informed on the Fund’s activities in the 8 months of 2006 and its prospects for the near future. The Fund’s workers reported on the major events taking place within the framework of the Fund’s programs and areas and told the meeting about their plans for the future.
High emphasis was placed on implementing the Fund’s big project, founding a Children’s Hospital in Kyiv. The Supervisory Board considered and approved this project. Besides, the details of a promotion tour of Ukraine’s cities were discussed. Members of the Supervisory Board proclaimed their support of the promo tour and insisted upon their personal involvement into the scheduled events.
