The Way Home TV Project Presented within the Framework of the Ukraine Rescues Her Children Program

September 20, the National Television Company of Ukraine hosted the presentation of a new social project, a series of TV programs titled The Way Home. The programs will be created within the framework of the Ukraine Saves Its Children program, carried out by the Successful People’s Club public organization, the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, the National Television Company of Ukraine, and the Children’s Leukemia International Charitable Foundation.
Among the guests at the press-conference presenting The Way Home series were member of the Board of Directors of the Successful People’s Club Yevhen Baranov, Chief Manager of the Children’s Onco-Gematology and Marrow Transplantation Center at the OKHMATDIT Ukrainian Specialized Hospital Svitlana Donska, President of the National Television Company of Ukraine Vitaly Dokalenko, and Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Oleksandr Maksymchuk.
The Way Home TV Project was created not only to draw the Ukrainians’ attention to children’s leukemia. It suggests realistic steps to solve this problem. The series will feature volunteers working at the Ukrainian medical centers, doctors, children, and their parents. The project was directed by renowned TV director Vadym Yermolenko.
The programs will be broadcasted on a weekly basis. Three times a month the show will be pre-recorded. It will be dedicated to various aspects related to children’s leukemia in Ukraine. Once a month it is planned to hold a live talk show with representatives of the authorities, charitable organizations, and medical centers.
The program will also inform the public on raising and use of the funds in real time. The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund has opened a special account for fundraising and took on itself managing these funds. They will be used for purchasing medicine and medical equipment for the Children’s Onco-Gematology and Marrow Transplantation Center at the OKHMATDIT Ukrainian Specialized Hospital. The Way Home project will be premiered at 9:40 pm, Saturday, September 23, on the First National Channel.
