Since there should be 25 participants of the program, the foundation is going to choose three more children's clinics to help them establish relations with leading hospitals of Europe and North America. The program is meant to develop relations between Ukrainian hospitals and foreign medical institutions and build modern high hospitals that would render integrated medical services to children in Ukraine. It also helps Ukrainian physicians to practice abroad.
During the press conference, Andriy Miroshnichenko, Advisor to the Head of the Ukraine 3000 Supervisory Council, informed those present that the council had approved its 2005 financial report. Dmytro Lyapin, Head of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation, Vira Pavlyuk, Hospital to Hospital Director, and several members of the supervisory council dwelled on principles of the program and spoke about their plans. Theatre Director Vasyl Vovkun said he intended to stage a charitable art action to help all Ukrainian orphans feel the joyful atmosphere of Christmas, tell them about folk traditions and give them Christmas presents.
