A memorial service to commemorate the victims of Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine (Holodomor) took place at St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral in Brussels. The service was celebrated by Bishop Michel Hrynchyshyn, Apostolic Exarch for Byzantine-rite Ukrainian faithful in France, Benelux, and Switzerland.

By the data of an all-Ukrainian poll conducted by the Kyiv International Sociology Institute (KISI), 60% Ukrainians support the recognition of the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 as genocide by the UN. At that, only 12% believe that the famine was caused by natural factors.

Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko Meets with Experts and Winners of the First Stage of the Grants Program for Small Cultural and Art Projects
In course of the meeting, the experts gave their evaluation of the project submitted to the contest, noting the importance of non-governmental support for cultural projects, since there are no other grant programs of this kind in Ukraine. Representatives of the winning organizations presented their projects to be implemented with the participation of Ukraine 3000 Foundation and took part in their discussion.
